This top-of-the-line High Pass Filter is specifically designed to be inline in front of your amp to roll off frequencies below 100 Hz. which are passed to the Model 7 series speakers and reconstructed in the amplifier powering the bass driver. High Pass Crossover is shown in the Balanced Configuration. The single-ended option is available at a slightly lower price. This product may be available with a discount when purchased together with a matching Vandersteen speaker.
The M5 High-Pass Crossovers with Teflon Capacitor upgrade are ideally suited to the KENTO Cabon line of speakers and are implemented between the preamp and the amplifier. The Balanced Version (M5-HPB TEF) is shown, and a single-ended version (M5-HP TEF) is available at a slightly lower price. Vandersteen always recommends you use balanced connections where possible with our products. Please note the TEF and standard versions appear the same on the outside. Inside you will find the white higher-quality Teflon capacitors.
