Application:
A small home theater front speaker for in-cabinet mounting or situations where it
is domestically impossible to use our full-range loudspeakers.
Driver:
Aligned Coaxial design with a 6.5-inch die-cast basket woofer and a 1-inch
critically-damped, alloy dome tweeter. Available with or without magnetic shielding.
Crossover:
First-order, 6dB per octave at 3500Hz. Incorporates advanced phase and frequency
compensation networks. The woofer and tweeter are both in positive phase.
Impedance:
8 ohms nominal. 5 ohms minimum.
Efficiency:
86dB at 1 meter with a 2.83 volt input.
Response:
64Hz to 21kHz + or - 3dB. The VLR-1's bass is bandpass limited.
Input:
Heavy-duty terminal blocks.
Amplification:
30 to 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms.
Mounting:
T-nuts are built into the bottom.
